Security Lights

The Cooperative will offer various types of outdoor lights for rental to Cooperative members.  The basic monthly rental charge for the light will include installation on an existing pole, energy for the light, and normal maintenance.  Any unusual maintenance required as a result of vandalism or other physical damage may be charged to the member.

A non-refundable charge of $50.00 will be required for installation of lights on an existing Cooperative pole.  If an additional pole is required specifically for the rental light, an additional non-refundable charge of $300.00 will be required for installation of the pole.  The Cooperative will provide a wooden pole up to 30’ in length for lights 250 watts and below and up to 35’ in length for lights over 250 watts.  The basic monthly rental charge for the light will be increased by $1.50 per month for each additional pole and/or transformer required specifically for the light.  This provision shall not be construed as an offset for actual charges that may be assessed for extra poles for new services.
